Ready to try dance class? We’re ready for YOU!

At Showcase Dance Studio, we’ve seen that many families in our community are returning to activities with their children. They are working hard to balance the social, emotional, and physical needs of their kids. As a parent myself, I know this feeling well. Choosing to try a new activity can be daunting, but finding that “right” place is like discovering gold! For my two kids, that place has become dance and soccer—and while I, too, remain cautious with their activities, I can see how beneficial it is for them to enjoy this time developing skills, making new friends, exploring their talents, and meeting new, trusted role models.

As the new year gets underway at SDS, we’ve introduced a few special short-series classes to allow families like yours to give dance a try. Our Parent & Me, Tiny Toes, and Tiny Tumblers lessons are designed to offer little ones the chance to discover their love for movement and music.

If you’re looking to get involved in dance with your child, then our Parent & Me option is an ideal fit! You and your young dancer will enjoy this quality time together full of learning, imagination, games, and new friends. https://showcase.dance/classes/dance-series/parent-me/

If your little one loves moving and grooving independently, then Tiny Toes is the way to go. This ballet-based series includes an intro to basic steps and plenty of imaginative learning. Many of our Tiny Toes dancers go on to study ballet technique when they are older! https://showcase.dance/classes/dance-series/3yr-5-year-old-dance-series/

And if you’ve got a super-energetic kid on your hands, then Tiny Tumblers will get him or her climbing in the right direction. Our students can’t get enough of this engaging class that balances creativity and structure. New skills mixed with fun? That’s a definite “yes!” https://showcase.dance/tiny-tumbler/

While we are dancing our hearts out in the classroom, health and safety are top of mind too. Here at Showcase, we have successful safety protocols in place for a multitude of reasons: to ensure a growth-minded and nurturing environment, to offer an outlet of physical activity and strength-building, and to help our kids learn developmentally-appropriate movement. In addition, our COVID procedures remain strong, with frequent cleaning and disinfecting, reinforcement of good hand hygiene, asking staff and students to stay home when ill, and mask requirements upon entry, exit, and in our hallways. Masks continue to be warmly welcomed in the classroom by those who prefer to wear them.

I can say that without a doubt, as a studio owner, it is such a joy to welcome new students to our classrooms! Recently I’ve met little ones who are trying classes for the first time. Seeing their eyes light up is pure magic; there’s no other word for it. The music, the movement, the excitement… you can feel the energy in the room!

I hope that as you explore new activities for your child, you’ll try one of our short-series classes. We look forward to welcoming you to our happy, healthy, and safe classrooms. When you’re at Showcase, you’re like family!

Sincerely,
Ms. Crystal
