Many factors are involved in pointe readiness, including the strength of the legs, feet, and ankles. The purpose of this class is to teach correct alignment, correct classical ballet technique, and to further develop the necessary muscles to go en pointe. Pre-pointe classes also allow teachers to assess readiness upon completion.
