TEACHING JOB DESCRIPTION

Our instructors are chosen based on the right combination of training, professional experience, positive attitude, and teaching skills. You must have a high energy level to match our students’ enthusiasm for dance. Candidates need to possess excellent presentation through professionalism, punctuality and a thorough knowledge of dance. We only hire career-minded, long-term employees who have a stand out work ethic and a desire to grow. We love versatile teachers who are skilled in multiple styles of dance and who enjoy teaching everyone from tiny dancers to advanced teenagers.

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS

  • College Dance Degree
  • Professional Dance Experience OR
  • Dance Certifications

SKILLS

  • Masterfully teach dance classes and follow a dance curriculum
  • Choreograph unique, entertaining and polished recital routines
  • Creatively and professionally pose students for recital picture week
  • Actively participate in dress rehearsals and dance recitals

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach energetic/disciplined class
  • Ensure students and teacher are in studio dress code
  • Teach students to masterfully progress through our curriculums
  • Stay knowledgeable of studio policies/events and meet deadlines
  • Attend classes on-time and prepared
  • Engage in growth as a teacher

Class availability could include Monday-Friday from 5pm-9pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm.
